Has Lived in South Carolina since 1997. In 2015 he relocated to Greenville, SC and later attended Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude. In the past 8 years he has been actively involved in the community and serves the Five Forks area with the best Chiropractic care.
Dr. Bernardo Perkinson earned an undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of South Carolina, and has always had a passion for health. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, he gained professional experience in management and finance. As a patient of chiropractic since his mid 20’s, he realized that Chiropractic had transformed the course of his life, and he wanted to impact other people’s health and help them live a better life also.
During chiropractic school, he served as President and Vice President of the Gonstead Technique Club and earned over 500 hours in training, seminars, and skills development under several mentors. His first assignment as a Chiropractor was serving on a Chiropractic Mission in Guatemala, providing healing through chiropractic care for those who are in the most need.
When Dr. Perkinson is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, hiking, soccer, running, cooking, home improvement projects, practicing martial arts, playing music. Dr. Perkinson also dedicates time each month to continue improving skills and knowledge by attending chiropractic technique and practice management seminars and is currently working on additional certifications with the ICPA in pediatrics.
Dr. Perkinson is an active member of the Hispanic Alliance, the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society, the ICPA – International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the PSCA (Palmetto State Chiropractic Association), the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteers as team manager for his son’s soccer team at CESA – Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, and Advent Methodist Church Missions Team and also volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, and other non-profit organizations.
